Just thought I'd take a moment to fill you all in on some exciting news! Hard to believe it's been 10 days, but on September 19, my best friend, my partner in crime for the past two and a half years asked me to marry him... and I said yes!!
He called everyone he knew that I would want to have been let in on the charade, including my father whom he asked for my hand. Then, told me to bring my camera because he knew we were going at sunset and it would make for pretty photos, drove me out to a small beach across from our dinner location for the evening, let me walk ahead and out ankle deep into the water to snap photos and then when I turned around, this sweet man was down on one knee with the biggest smile I have ever seen strewn across his face :) As you're about to see, the backdrop was GORGEOUS, but it was truly dimmed by the beauty of that moment when G said the words "will you marry me?"
It was honestly just perfect and I couldn't be more grateful to God for leading me to the place I am now and for the people who have in the past and continue to love and support us... WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!
